Hello! I'd love to meet you in person so we can get to know each other a little better than what my website can tell you. Please feel free to call me so we can chat!
In the meantime, here is a bit about me:
I love cappuccinos, croissants and chocolate! I really should live in Paris, actually!
I have a daughter named Adelyn who I adore dressing and am already fearing the
day she tells me she won't wear ruffled socks or bows in her hair.
I recently got married to my 1999 high school homecoming date in 2015!!! Crazy
how life works out! We chose to spend our honeymoon in Paris (of course!) where we had the opportunity to work with a fantastic photographer there, as well as our wonderful wedding photographers in Washington. Obviously, photography is a very important part of my life!
We recently made a big move from Hawaii to be closer to family since we had our daughter in 2016! As we all know, the weather can be a little less cooperative here in the Northwest, so I was delighted to design an indoor, in-home studio in Mukilteo for that reason. I still love shooting outdoors when weather permits but also have a wonderful natural-light studio, which is especially great for newborns, babies and maternity sessions.
I have been in creative fields most of my life, including acting, tv/filmmaking, and photography. I also am a credentialed Elementary teacher and taught 6th grade for a little while in Hawaii. Once my husband and I decided to start a family, I shifted into photography full time, especially newborn and baby photography from our home studio. Our family currently consists of my amazing husband, our baby girl, Adelyn, and our furbabies, Cadence and Noelle. I am delighted to combine my creativity, positive spirit and love for children and families into my professional photography.
As for my newborn photography, keeping your baby safe is my number one priority in our photo session. I have taken numerous newborn photography courses & retreats to not only better myself within the industry, but to keep up with my safety skills as well. For that reason, I may not always do every pose you might have seen others do. I want to ensure your baby is comfortable and safe always. Cute can come naturally!
I am also infant CPR certified and took the Baby Safety Course at Swedish Edmonds Hospital in 2016.
I am up to date on all vaccinations such as TDEP and the flu vaccine.
My goal is to personalize each session, so please feel free to share your creative ideas with me as we have fun working together to capture your cherished moments!
I look forward to meeting you,
Leanna Woodley
